A fine example of cooperation between CGLI members in the breakbulk sector :
Sometimes the Germans and the Belgians quarrel about who is the most important beer country. This month a shipment of 5 fermentation tanks and 1 beer tank of German origin were shipped from Antwerp to Beirut. Walid Lattouf of Worldwide Shipping Beirut, member of CGLI, had secured a repeat order from the Lebanese consignee. And a repeat order means that the customer was pleased with the service the first time round. The tanks were loaded on deck of a liner breakbulk vessel. Thanks to the business which WWL Beirut negotiated with the consignee, Cargologin Antwerp got the order of the shipper to handle the cargo at the port of Antwerp, which was delivered by barge to the port of Antwerp. The cargo is now on the water, well on it’s way to Beirut, where WWL will take good care of it for the consignee. Simply strong together. Let’s drink to that !
